Help Us Find Appoquinimink's Teacher of the Year!

The nomination process for the Teacher of the Year program has begun. If you know a great teacher please take a moment to submit his/her name. You can nominate a candidate anytime between now and February 23! Every teacher recommended receives a congratulatory letter, professional recognition, and an applicaion. Many more teachers are nominated than actually apply, but every one of them is honored to know a student, parent, colleague or community member cared enough to submit their name.

SELECTION OF OUR WINNER

1	The candidate must be a teacher who teaches classes. (Librarians may be considered if they have classes for which they can be observed in instruction. Counselors, nurses, para-professionals, and therapists are not eligible.)
2	The candidate must have a minimum of three (3) yeasr of teaching experience, preferrably in our district.
3	The dandidate must be fully certified in the area in which he or she teaches.
4	Teachers recognized as the Appoquinimink School District and/or Building Teacher of the Year winner within the past three (3) years are not eligible.
