Where play and learning connect!

Saturday, May 16

10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Appoquinimink High School, 1080 Bunker Hill Road, Middletown

Our 11th annual event is shaping up to be the biggest, most exciting celebration in the history of the fair. More than 2,500 visitors are expected to enjoy a day full of adventure and excitement designed for children in grades PK-6.

You'll be delighted by dozens of make and take activities in art, science, math, reading, technology, social studies, language arts and more, offered at interactive Discovery Zones located throughout the building.

This year's theme, International Education, reflects our commitment to prepare students to successfully compete in the global economy of the 21st century. You'll see how the Appoquinimink School District is broadening our curricula with the introduction of strategic languages, cultural and career explorations, technological skills, global education/communication initiatives, and more.

Student Art Show
We will be showcasing the artwork of talented students from across the district in the Student Art Show located in the library. Don't miss the impressive display of drawing, painting, sculpture adn photography pieces.

Our event is being hosted by Appoquinimink High School, located at 1080 Bunker Hill Road, Middletown.

We've got your passport to fun!
Children will receive a "Passport to Fun" card at the beginning of their visit. As you make your way through the fair, be sure to have the card punched whenever you complete a Discovery Zone. Children who visit six or more featured Zones can redeem the card for a new, age-appropriate book at the end of the day.
