Summer Reading Lists/Logs for Incoming Twelfth
Graders
Research indicates that students may lose as much
as six weeks of growth during the summer months if their reading skills are not
reinforced. The goal of Appoquinimink's Summer
Reading Program is to support young people by providing enjoyable selections
that offer appropriate challenges to keep students learning and help them make
important connections in the classroom come fall.
Summer reading lists and logs are attached
for your convenience. Please note: separate assignments are posted for
College Prep versus Honors/AP courses. If you have questions or need more information, please feel free to
contact the front desk at your school.
**Completed assignments
(journals, logs) are due when grade 10-12 students return on August
25.**
