ABOUT OUR SCHOOL
Middletown High School serves students in grades 9–12 throughout the Appoquinimink School District. The school boasts a large and diverse student population, yet retains the charm of a small-town school with its great sense of community. Originally opened in 1997, the facility had a two-story wing added in the Summer of 2002, together with an expansion of its cafeteria/lobby to create extra capacity.

The building is fully networked for computers, with Internet access in all classrooms, four computer labs, and a computer-aided drafting lab. The High School also houses a shared public/school library and state service center as well as an 830-seat auditorium and 1,200-seat gymnasium.

Middletown High is proud of its academic rigor, as witnessed by its strong performance on the state's standardized testing program, the DSTP.
