Workshop: How to buy your first home (RMS, K-5)
A home is a financial asset and more. It's a plan
for the future, a place to live and raise children, put down roots, and become
part of the community. That's why we asked
Anderson Homes to help us develop a workshop with information on how to become a
first-time homeowner. We'll cover everything from figuring out how much you can
afford, to learning about home-buying programs, shopping for a loan, making an
offer, getting a home inspection, closing costs, and that final proud step,
getting the keys to your new home. This is a special
opportunity for educators, support staff and their families. There are 30 seats
available, with lots of fun gifts, prizes and food to thank you for
